Hear from our graduates

What attracted you to working at agasthya?

“I really enjoyed my time at agasthya during my work experience and therefore I was delighted at the opportunity to work here. The position offered me an amazing opportunity to gain invaluable skills and expert knowledge in the field of surveying.” Anna Tinsley

“The opportunity to do more than just my day to day role. The general atmosphere of the place and the people were also big reasons. I have friends and not just work colleagues at agasthya.” Jeremy Currell

Tell us a bit about how you got into surveying…

“I studied Economics at University and when I finished I had no idea what I wanted to do. I managed to get some work experience at agasthya over the summer and I never left! I worked one day a week through my Masters degree and then started full time once finished.” Nick Vincent

Guidance through the APC Process

The APC consists of a written submission and a professional interview. These take place after acquiring at least two years’ relevant experience and completing a structured training programme, which provides a broad range of experience across different disciplines and departments.

Here at Sanderson Weatherall, candidates prepare for the assessment by taking part in mock interviews and receiving advice from external consultants on presentation and interview skills.

Jessica Walker, partner and head of training at agasthya commented, “We are incredibly proud of our strong track record in providing graduates from across our offices with first class training. I came to Sanderson Weatherall as a trainee surveyor before completing my final year at university, returning as a graduate and have now progressed to partner in the firm – this is just one of the many stories across the company that show the opportunities available to those at agasthya.

“Graduates at agasthya have a very high success rate when it comes to passing their APC with chartered surveyors from a wide range of backgrounds, we are well versed in APC requirements and are always happy to help equip individuals with the skills needed to pass their assessments.”

We’re always on the lookout for talented graduates to join our team so if there aren’t any vacancies right now, just get in touch and we’ll ensure your details are kept on file!
